Horses, Hats or Flowers

Hello and welcome! It's all about choice for Challenge #30 at The Squirrel and The Fox. Incorporate one, or all, of the items in my blog post title on your papercrafting project and link up with us to play along. The design team created some amazing cards to inspire you so please pay them a visit at TS&TF blog or click their links on my right sidebar. Congratulations to our Challenge #29-Use A Ribbon winner, Sharron, and the Top 3!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Make It Crafty and Zoe provided the DT with images to play with. I chose this fun digi named Scruffy and I love how whimsical he is. I'm not sure why he's named that but I'm quite smitten with him. ;) He's colored with Copics and gold Stickles were added to the small jingle bells on the red part of his hat. Speaking of hats, that is what I chose from the challenge list because I love Scruffy's hat and want one just like it lol. I added three dp panels from the Bella Blvd.-Christmas Wishes paper pack and I matted them to Atlantic cs from Bazzill. Yellow & red cardstock tie the colors together and faux stitching, ribbon, buttons & twine, and a stamped North Pole postage image finish my card. I'm hoping the child that receives this Christmas card will love Scruffy as much as I do. :) A big thank you to Make It Crafty for the fun images to create with!

Exciting news to share!

Yours truly is one of the new design team members at The Squirrel and The Fox challenge blog. WooHoo! Linda & Tracey emailed me last week extending an invite to join the design team and I immediately replied yes. I was beyond excited to accept the invitation and I've received such a warm welcome. Thank you ladies! I can tell I'm going to have a great time with this group. :) As excited as I am I know our Challenge #29-Things with Wheels winner, Dee, and the Top 3 chosen by the design team are too. Congratulations to each of you!

Our fab sponsor for Challenge #30-Use a Ribbon is the The Digi Garden who also supplied the team with images to create with. :-) My card features, Immie's Scarf, and I chose the colors for her scarf from the dp's in the Christmas Eve Chowder collection by Jillibean Soup. The snowflake dp is a scrap piece from my stash and because it's all about ribbon this time I used two coordinating ribbons and tied a bright blue satin bow underneath Immie. Stamped snowflakes that received a dusting of glitter add to my wintry scene and I anchored the corners with brads. A die cut tag is the perfect place to stamp my sentiment and finishes my card. Many thanks to The Digi Garden for sponsoring our challenge and providing the team with digital images. Click the link to view their wonderful digital products, you'll be glad you did.
