Top Tip Tuesday-Numbers

Over at Top Tip Tuesday I am the host for the next two weeks and we want to see numbers on your paper projects. Like I said on the challenge blog numbers are a fantastic way to personalize your birthday or anniversary cards. Here's my tip: I used a die to create numbers from chipboard, made another set of numbers from designer paper and adhered with adhesive spray. Easy peasy!

Here's the link to the digital image I used from Bugaboo Stamps, Cupcake Circle Tag.

Prize is 7 Digis of winners choice!

TAG-You're It!

Welcome to Top Tip Tuesday's newest challenge, TAG-You're It! The lovely Bettina is our hostess and your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to incorporate a tag somewhere on your paper creation. Not too hard, right? The DT has a lineup of inspiration waiting for you at TTT featuring Shape EZ templates, one of our sponsors.  Tammy is an ex-teamie of TTT and the creator of Shape EZ templates so it's always fun to use her products to create with. I love the various designs my teamies chose and somewhere you'll see a tag on each one. I'm using the Pedestal Tag 1 which I hope you can see, if not then look on the left. It was fussy cut by me however that's not required if you're lucky enough to own an electronic cutter. Maybe I'll get one for Mother's Day, hope so. ;-) Tammy is kind enough to include several files with your order-JPEG, PNG, PDF or SVG. It makes her templates a real bargain and I hope you'll give them a try! Our other fabulous sponsor is Sweet Stamp Store and we are thrilled to have them as a new sponsor this year. Yay!

I found the inspiration for my wall hanging by flipping through the We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost 6x6 pad. A dp jumped out at me and I trimmed it to reveal my base and began searching for other coordinating dp's. A sheet with cut outs and another with green polka dots made the selection and I layered the journaling cut out with the polka dot dp while the small cut out was adhered to the top left corner. My Pedestal Tag 1 provided a base for me to stamp grey snowflakes onto and a row of Island Lagoon bling adorns the bottom. Some coordinating ribbon tied off at the top adds color and texture to my project. The edges were inked with aquamarine archival ink by Ranger and I liked the punch of color so I stamped three snowflakes from the Glad Tidings set by Verve in the same color. After die cutting them I placed an aqua bling in the center and accented the snowflakes on my base panel as well with bling. I'm kinda on a quest to use my current supplies so the aqua swirl bling finally found a home. A stamped sentiment from the Christmas in the Air set by Verve and a banner die cut form the green polka dot dp completes it. I love snowflakes and it's fun to have this hanging in my crafty space during winter to cheer me up. :)

We're all little piggies on Halloween!

My spooky duo!

It's time for another Top Tip Tuesday challenge, Good With Food, and Elaine is our hostess this fortnight. She's done an amazing tutorial on how to create your own wrapping for chocolate bars which you'll want to check out on the TTT blog. We are fortunate to be sponsored this challenge by our ex-teamie, Tammy Louise, who designs Shape EZ Templates with Whimsy to make crafting fun and easy. I chose to work with the Take Out Box and decided it would make a fabulous treat box for Halloween. Before I knew it I'd made a card too! Here's a close up of Tammy's versatile Take Out Box  filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. :-)

Black Soot  Distress Ink gives my treat box a spooky feel.

Isn't he the cutest little piggie you've ever seen!
