Say It Isn't Sew

A challenge after my own heart, Faux Stitching. :)

That's right, for the next two weeks we want to see faux stitching on your paper creations at Top Tip Tuesday. My card features Pricilla Pie, one of the many beautiful images to choose from at Krista's online shop, Saturated Canary.

Saturated Canary

Prize: 2 Digi images from her lovely shop.

Thank you Krista for supplying the DT with images to create with!

Prize: $20 voucher!

This was a fun card to create and here's my TIP: Rub ons make faux stitching a breeze. That's right, those "stitches" on my image panel are rub ons. That's my kind of sewing. ;)

That's all for me today, I do hope you'll pay our guest designer, Dorte, a visit and the design team to see more inspiration.

Happy Crafting,
Lisa

Rub ons...rock!!! Haven't seen any this pretty before, but you really can't tell they're faux at all! Your SC image is colored beautifully L1 and you definitely displayed a gorgeous make this week for TTT. Just beautiful work my friend.

Oh Lisa, this card is absolutely precious. I love the softness in it yet it is so obvious how much work and creativity you put into it. Sometimes it is like that - to get it to look soft and comfy like a chair it takes "more" effort!!!! I love the gal - the stamps are some of my favs. Your coloring is stellar! And yes...I am getting convinced paper might be my choice too; I created many canvas today and it takes FOREVER to dry - I don't have the patience!!! haha. duh are you surprised! lol. Your cards are really originally shaped and beautifully done. I have looked at a few different ones. I also like how you direct people to the challenge. That is really selfless of you! {heart} lovies, samara
