A new linky party is OPEN at Make It Monday!
This is one of those rare DT posts where I am not using a sponsor image. I wanted to share a card I made for my darling daughter's graduation. On the 21st of May she graduated high school with honors. Naturally we are very proud parents but to be honest, I am proud of this young woman every day of her life. She constantly amazes me! With her graduation though I get to hang up one of my hats, home school mom, permanently. I home schooled my son for 8 years and Sara from K-12. It is a huge responsibility and not one that I took lightly. All the hard work paid off though and when she scored a 28 on her ACT we both knew it. My advice to any home school parent or student is to never give up. Hang in there and see it to completion, you'll be glad you did. :)
Congratulations to all graduates everywhere!!!

I love the sequins, this cheeky gal and the fab sentiment she used. It gave me a chuckle!
Thanks Caroline for sharing your talent with us at Make It Monday. :)
By the time this post goes live I will be celebrating my daughter's high school graduation, my son's US Army Advanced Individual Training graduation and my 49th birthday which is the 3rd. The best part is that we are together again as a family. :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic week! Have I mentioned lately that I'm a very lucky girl, well I am and I'm so grateful to the One who makes it all possible.
Hugs,
Lisa xx

You must be very proud of your daughter's achievements, and you've made such a great graduation card for her. A homemade card is so much more personal than one bought from the store...
