Snowflake House

Snowflake House

I'm back to share a fab 3D house that Regina, of The Cutting Cafe, designed. It's from the 3D House Template and Cutting File and tomorrow you'll be able to see all of the DT inspiration on TCC's blog. I used the tall house and made it into a winter wonderland with glitter, stickers and distress stains.

I used dp's from the Eskimo Kisses collection by Basic Grey as my base. The windows, door and trees are included in the file and were colored with distress ink. Stickles glitter adds some sparkle.

On the blue panels I embossed a grunge snowflake by Tim Holtz. The snowflake stickers were in my stash and I'm happy to find a use for them.

The base was decorated with distress stains and I altered corrugated paper with white acrylic paint and glued it to the base.

It looks snowy :) and I added pretty aqua ribbon as a finishing touch.

A better view of the chimney.

Now that is just gorgeous!!! I love that soft pastel snowy feel. Kind of like on a beautiful day where the snow is lightly falling...it's just that color. How you did the corrugated fence is wonderful!! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! :)
