Well in true form I'm linking up my entry for the 20th challenge at CC3C on the last day with less than 7 hours to go. One of my goals for 2015 is to link my future projects up by the end of the first week. Wish me luck!
This challenge focuses on the second part of Distress Watercoloring and I created mini Valentine cards using Tim's technique.
The size was dictated by the metal mailbox I altered to place them in. Here's the second one...
3x3
I used stamps from Tim's Mini Blueprints 2 on each.
I actually made a third card but the photo was fuzzy and I'm in a bit of a hurry trying to get this linked up so might add it later. It's the first card in the stack, hopefully I can add a photo over the weekend.
To alter the mailbox, which was in my alterables stash, I added a coat of Gesso, painted it with pink acrylic paint and wrapped 3 ribbons around it. To the front I added a rhinestone heart flourish and ephemera from Tim's 8x8 seasonal stash paper pack. The rosette is by K and Company.
Here are my process photos.
This challenge is being sponsored by
The Funkie Junkie is offering a $25.00 shopping spree to one lucky CC3Cer!
It's not too late to play along with the Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge. You will need to work from your own copy of Tim's Compendium of Curiosities III book and you can order an autographed copy here. As always, no techniques were shared out of respect for Tim and the work he puts into the making of these books.
That's all for me, thanks for the visit today!
