'U for Upon' and 'V for Very Quick' at ABC Christmas Challenge

'V for Very Quick'

Hello and Welcome!
I've been on a blog break while recuperating from my surgery in August but it's good to be back. Today's share is a design team card for ABC Christmas Challenge. I am hosting this month so along with a sponsor's prize for our lucky winner I am offering a cute stamp set by Andrea Gomoll.

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up

They are offering 2 free digi's from Wendy's Etsy Shop.

To play along create a Christmas themed project using the letters

'U for Upon' or 'V for Very Quick'

and yes you can create two projects using both letters or incorporate both on one. Enter as many times as you like and be sure to specify which letter influenced your project. Be sure to check out all of the DT inspiration here on the main challenge blog

Good Luck!

H for Hat, I for Ice at ABC Christmas Challenge

It's good to be back with a post and design team project for ABC Christmas Challenge. I truly meant to be more regular with my posts here but I've been sidetracked with an impromptu craft room makeover. It took longer than I planned but glad it's done and I am back to crafting again. A big thanks to Samantha and Helen for giving me the month of March off to finish everything up. In a few weeks I'll be sharing the transformation right here on my blog. :)

This month we are on the letters H and I so a hat or ice on your Christmas themed project will work. Click the link above to visit the challenge blog and see more inspiration for both letters by my incredible design team sisters.

SPONSOR

For my card I used a wood stamp that belonged to my mom. I love having some of her crafty supplies in my stash, brings sweet memories to mind of all the cards she made me throughout the years. It's from Hampton Arts stamps and it's called Frosty. While Santa's red hat is iconic at Christmas I think Frosty's black brimmed hat is a close second.

Join us this month and if you win you'll receive two free digital images from Wendy's Etsy shop.
Good Luck!

C for Creatures / D for Dimensional

The first month of 2017 is over and we are beginning the second month with a brand new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge. Hopefully by now you are adjusted to our new challenge rules. :) I chose to incorporate both letters on my design team card and an image, Christmas Snowglobe, from one of our wonderful sponsors-All Dressed Up.

Sponsors

Be sure to visit Wendy's Etsy shop and browse her fabulous digital designs.
She is offering our lucky winner a prize of 2 free digi's of their choice.

and our second sponsor is

Prize for our lucky winner is a $10.00 gift certificate to their online store.
Sweet Stamps offers an array of rubber and acrylic stamps, dies, and various paper crafting supplies.

Wilma is hosting this challenge and she is also offering a prize as well.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, added some sparkle with atyou Spica pens, falling snow with a white gelly pen and fussy cut the image. It was popped up on my embossed white panel with Scotch foam tape. After I added some silver twine and a snowglobe charm I layered the panel on top of my A2 card base and it was finished.

I'm playing along with Wendy's challenge at All Dressed Up which is Anything Goes.

There are more ideas over on the challenge blog but you get the idea. Be sure to tell us in your blog post exactly what your duo is to be in the running for the sponsor's prize. Speaking of sponsors, we have a brand new one and you'll want to check out my teamies beautiful projects which showcase images by All Dressed Up

Prize is winner's choice of two free digi's from Wendy's Etsy store.

To create my card I used a lot of fun products~Echo Park Hello Summer paper by Lori Whitlock, the cs is by Bazzill and see the text paper...actually it packaging from The Girls Paperie chipboard alpha's I purchased before they closed. :( I also used Spellbinders Captivating Squares to die cut my focal panel and the stamps - Animals in Love~Owls - along with the sentiment stamp - Animal Love Sentiments - are by Taylored Expressions and were colored with Prismacolor pencils. The ruffle ribbon flowers are by Maya Road and they've been in my stash forever. I added touches of black with Kaisercraft pearls, ink and a faux stitched border with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Finishing touch was to add some red glitter to the hearts using Stickles by Ranger.

That's my card and it's for my hubby. We have an anniversary coming up next month, our 29th, and with all the travel I'll be doing the next three weeks I didn't want to leave it to chance. :)

I hope you'll join us for our Duo challenge at Top Tip Tuesday.
Thanks for the visit today!
