Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm dropping by to wish all of you a very Happy Valentine's Day! This little holiday sorta snuck up on me this year but I managed to finish my cards for my immediate family and phone calls will have to do for the other family members.;) February has been a hectic month around here so I'm thrilled to have my final Valentine finished to give my darling daughter later today. My previous two posts feature the "DH's & DS's" valentine cards. We'll be celebrating with a home cooked meal and a movie, how about you?

My daughter loves hearts and there are plenty on this card which can also be hung on the wall or memo board to enjoy all year long. I started with Spellbinders dies, Heart Circles and Standard Classic Circles, and I used Taylored Expressions Hearts Impression Plate to make heart impressions on the smallest of the dies. You really can't see much of it unfortunately because my medallion covered most of it, lol. The medallion (wish I could take credit for it) is a Circus Valentine Medallion from K & Company and I love it! A button, red grosgrain ribbon & pink burlap string complete the top and a "frame" was fussy cut from a MME Lost & Found dp. I stamped my sentiment from Verve's Heart's Desire set on it then attached a *heart* brad from Paper Studio. I covered the back with another dp from MME and stamped a favorite sentiment from Verve's Love Notes set. I used the "I love you to the moon and back" as we have always said that to one another and I added a special message just for her. At the last minute I decided to add some Flamingo Liquid Pearls to the cream circle on the front and glad I did, it gives it just the pop of pink it needed. I've decided to wait and show my Valentine project tomorrow as inquiring minds want to see it now and I want them to see it this evening when we all celebrate together, lol. Thanks for stopping by and hope you have the happiest Valentine ever!!!
