Make It Monday #113 with Ladies That Craft

Hello, hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. It's time for another linky party at Make It Monday and this week we're sponsored by Ladies That Craft. I'm totally in love with the whimsical images that Julie provided the design team with and can't wait for you to see what my teamies made with them. :) You can check their creations out by visiting  the MIM blog or clicking on their links on my right sidebar. My card features Mushroom Houses and I took artistic liberty by adding polka dots to the top of the mushrooms. Before I get into the details of how I made this card I want to congratulate our winners of MIM #112 and thank everyone who linked up a project last week. The gallery was overflowing with amazing entries!

For my card I started with a 6x6 base, chomped the corners and embossed an off-white panel with a Cuttlebug Polka Dots folder. My fun image is colored with Copics and Stardust Stickles were added to the polka dots to make them sparkle. I die cut my image with a Spellbinders Classic Squares Lg. die and my sentiment as well. A Lacey Squares die cut panel adds some color and I should note that my sentiment is from the Waltzingmouse Stamps Cottage Home set. A MS monarch butterfly punch adorned with baby bling from Want 2 Scrap and a tri-colored ribbon from American Crafts finish my card. Now if only I could live in a house like this, how extraordinary that would be lol. :)

My Pick of the Week is #141 Tracey Brossart with her colorful Christmas card which had me wishing my name was on her Christmas card list. ;) She has incredible coloring skills and I'm totally in awe of her sewing ability as well. There are SO many special touches on this card and Tracey posted several close up pictures on her blog so you can see the details. Be sure to click the link and leave her some love. Thanks for the inspiration Tracey!
