Make It Monday #104

Hello and welcome back for the new Make It Monday linky party! The DT was free to create anything of our choosing this week so I am sharing a Shopping Organizer I recently made for a friend. This is a pretty yet functional way to harness all of those loose coupons and there's also a pad to create a shopping list or jot a quick note. I followed a tutorial by the talented Laura Denison to create this organizer and I hope my friend enjoys using it.

I used Crate Paper's Portrait Collection as my paper choice and I purchased the collection pack which gave me coordinating die cuts, borders & stickers to work with. Rebecca Sower's Aged Typewriter ABC alpha's & a designer trim from Webster's Pages Country Estate add finishing touches to my project. The trim was part of a huge give-a-way that I won last Christmas from Kristin Wilson and the irony is she and Laura are both on the Graphic 45 International Design Team this year. So much talent between these two ladies! I haven't adhered the labels to the folders because I want my friend to decide on the categories and place them in the order she wants them. This project was a lot of fun to create and Laura's instructions were super easy to follow. I'm entering this in these challenges: The Paper Shelter-Anything Goes & Diva's by Design-Anything Goes.

Now for my very first Pick of the Week I chose this clever altered art project by Julia at Craft Room Stamper. She constructed it out of match boxes which she glued together, cut chipboard to frame her box and embellished it using T!m Holtz products and 7 Gypsies paper. I love all the visual interest her dp choice offers and she definitely inspired me to make a chest like this. Click the link to see more photos of this awesome project by Julia. Thanks to everyone who joined our linky party this past week and please know that it is very hard to choose only one entry. You guys are so talented and fill all of us with inspiration!

Our Fabulous Sponsor This Week is:

Mandy is generously offering our winner a digi paper collection of their choice.

Wow, how awesome is that?!

To be in with a chance to win this fabulous prize all you need to do is leave a comment for another entry in this week's linky party. Be sure to mention you saw them on MIM. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning. Good Luck!

Now it's your turn to WOW us with your amazing creations. If you haven't been to the Make It Monday blog yet be sure to drop by and check out what my talented teamies created to inspire you and happy crafting everyone. Also, a big thank you for the warm welcome & sweet comments everybody!

Have a wonderful week!

Hugs,
Lisa xx

Ooo I really like your project. I'm a couponer and note taker extraordinaire. LOL I love that paper pack too. I actually bought several single sheets and started making a mini with it then got side tracked. Later I bought the pack with all the bells and whistles. It's beautiful. :-) Hugs!

An explosion of creativity on your post today L1..my gosh, I'm still picking myself up. I have such a putrid coupon organizer that looks like the 1970's vomitted on it and I think it's DEFINITELY time to upgrade. Thanks so much for the great link and having your superb example to follow. :) It's fantastic!!
Your POTW...OH MY GOSH, that's unbelievable...you picked a stunning display of creativity here. That's adorable and I never would have guessed the supply she used...genius!
Hugs to you my friend..hope you have a great week. Talk to you soon.
