She's got style, steampunk style that is!
This image-Steampunk Girl-is from our current sponsor, Meljen's Designs, and I used her for our new Numbers challenge at Top Tip Tuesday. Naturally we want to see a number or numbers on your project. To meet Elaine's {our hostess} request for numbers I altered a Tim Holtz Idea-ology bingo piece with Archival Jet Black ink and a gold Adirondack acrylic paint dabber plus more numbers can be found on the philosophy tag also by Tim.
To create my background I used distress stains and my favorite stencil-Latticework. I spread a light coat of Snow Cap Adirondack Paint Dabber over it and chose several background stamps and stamped them in Archival Jet Black ink. The image was printed on white cardstock and colored primarily with distress markers, then antique linen was blended over it. The edges were torn by hand and vintage photo distress ink was used to age it.

A big thank you to her as well for supplying the DT with images to create with!
Here are a few close ups before I go...
I did use Copic's and a salmon Caran d'Ache neocolor crayon to even out her skin tone and for her hair color. Faded jeans distress stain quickly added color to the wood cog under the 7 bingo piece. Tim's spritz and flick technique was used on the image to create the water spots.
That's a wrap for me today, thanks for looking at my mixed media tag!
I hope you'll pay my teamies a visit to see the images they used for our Numbers challenge at Top Tip Tuesday.
Have a terrific day!
Hugs,
Lisa
